  welcome | what is tremor? | what is essential tremor?
  @essential tremor.org:  home:  Welcome
Of the 20-plus different kinds of tremor, essential tremor is the most common. There are medical treatments that can help people with tremor live a fuller life, but only a small percentage of those with this condition get medical help. This site is devoted to helping people diagnosed with essential tremor.

The International Essential Tremor Foundation can be a valuable resource, whether you're seeking the latest research data, seeking medical help, checking out answers to frequently asked questions or looking for a support group of like-minded people in your area. Whether or not you're a member of ITF, we urge you to browse through the information you find here and learn more about essential tremor.
